Terms of use

Last updated 1 October 2026

These terms apply when you use Sprig, a logic-puzzle game published by Luke Lancaster (“we”, “us”), a sole trader in the United Kingdom. Contact: sprig.game@gmail.com. By using Sprig you agree to them. The terms of the app store you downloaded Sprig from also apply. How we handle your data is explained in our privacy policy.

Using Sprig

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Sprig on your own devices for your own enjoyment. Please don’t:

Your account

You can play without an account. Signing in with Google (Android) or Apple (iPhone) adds cloud backup and live leagues. Keep that account secure; anything done through it in Sprig is treated as done by you. You can delete your account at any time.

Leagues and fair play

Our server checks league results. League groups include simulated players, always labelled BOT. If we find cheating or abuse, we may remove results, prizes or league entries, or suspend league access. League ranks and prizes are in-game only and have no value outside Sprig.

Your profile name is shown to other players. It must not be offensive, impersonate someone else or contain personal details. We may reset a name that breaks this rule.

Coins, helpers and other in-game items

Coins, helpers, prizes and most cosmetics are earned by playing and cannot be bought with real money. The companion packs and the monthly Sprig Club collections are the only paid items (see Purchases). None of these items has a cash value: they cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for money. You have a licence to use them in Sprig, not ownership of them. We may adjust the in-game economy to keep the game balanced and fair.

Purchases

Prices are shown in the app and the app store before you buy, including any taxes. Payment is handled by your app store; we never see your card details.

Club benefits do not affect league scores, prizes or helper earnings, which are the same for every player.

Adverts

Unless you have removed them, Sprig shows adverts from Google AdMob. Your advert choices can be changed in Settings → Privacy choices.

Changes to Sprig

We keep improving Sprig, so features, puzzles, leagues and Club benefits may change. Online features need our servers and may occasionally be unavailable. If we ever stop offering Sprig Club, we will stop renewals and tell you in the app. Offline play does not depend on our servers.

Our responsibility to you

If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure or our lack of reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses: Sprig is for personal use.

If digital content we supply damages your device or other digital content because we did not use reasonable care and skill, we will either repair the damage or pay you fair compensation.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.

Ending your use

You can stop using Sprig at any time. We may suspend or end league or online access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, and will tell you why where we can.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when Sprig changes or the law requires. We will change the date at the top, and tell you about important changes before they apply, for example in the app or by email.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of your home country. If you live in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.
