Delete your Sprig account
You only have a Sprig account if you signed in with Google (Android) or Apple (iPhone). If you never signed in, your progress lives only on your device; uninstalling Sprig removes it.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Sprig and go to Settings.
- Tap Account and progress and find the Account section.
- Tap Delete account and confirm by signing in again with Google or Apple.
Use Check deletion status on the same page to see when cleanup has finished. It normally finishes within 15 minutes to 24 hours. If a provider is temporarily unavailable, deletion stays pending and retries. Contact us if it has not finished within 24 hours.
Without the app
Email sprig.game@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my Sprig account”. Send it from the address your Sprig account uses, so we can confirm the account is yours: your Google address on Android, or your Apple ID address on iPhone. If you chose Hide My Email when signing in with Apple, that is your private relay address (ending @privaterelay.appleid.com). We will reply to confirm, and delete the account within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account (Google or Apple name, email address and account identifier). If you signed in with Apple, deleting in the app also revokes Sprig’s access to your Apple ID.
- All cloud backups of your game save.
- Your league profile (name, portrait and frame), league results, prize records and your row in league tables.
- Your purchase record held by RevenueCat.
- Your friend code, friends, requests and blocks, reports you sent or that were made about you, and feedback held for your account.
What is kept
- A minimal record that a deletion was requested, identified only by a one-way hash. It stops old devices re-uploading deleted data and lets the app check deletion finished. It holds no name, email or game data.
- Google Play and the App Store keep their own records of payments under their own policies. Deleting your Sprig account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions on Android, or Settings → your name → Subscriptions on iPhone.
- Backup files you exported yourself, and the progress on a device you have not uninstalled, are not affected.
